When you participate in on of our two courses with Lee Ritchey this summer, you get a free training license for the Mentor Graphics Hyperlynx tool – valid for 3 weeks. The local Mentor Graphics distributor InnoFour is one of the sponsors, and we are happy they want to support the event in this way.
We always want to work with the local distributors, as they have a much better network among the local engineers than we could ever have. So it’s an essential part of the marketing for a big event like this. And you get a new toy to play with 🙂
One of the things you will learn to understand, when you take the “Lee Ritchey: Signal Integrity” course is that all design engineers need to be able to use an IBIS simulator. It is important to understand that Hyperlynx is just one of a number of competing tools for this.
Another similar tool is Cadence SigXplorer, which you get to work with in the “SI Simulation Workshop” we do on 13/6. There are multiple other IBIS simulators out there that you might want to check out like ADS from Agilent, HSpice from Synopsys etc.
InnoFour will do a free Hyperlynx demo in the morning (before the regular course begins) on Tuesday (8:00-9:00). You are invited to participate – and free to skip it. It’s 100% up to you. Also that same day InnoFour will sponsor some drinks and snacks after the course, along with some more presentations and Q&A about their products. That’s usually a great networking opportunity – so hang out for that if you like.
It’s all part of “Stockholm SI Week” on June 6-15, 2013.
Final disclaimer: We want to stress that we do not receive any hidden kick-back or anything like it if you buy products from any of the sponsors. Sponsors are essential for marketing of events like this – we would not be able to do this without. Hope you get the best out of it.
