FinBoard: License Plate Recognition and more

Yet another good reason to sign up for the unique SI Week event in Stockholm May 18-22, 2015 (and better do it now :).

You could read a lot more about what the board can do on www.finboard.org – one example program looked quite interesting: License Plate Recognition claimed to use only 10% of the horse power and still be able to detect 95% at 4 m distance.

I am impressed – even if it just comes close when tested in real life. Just imagine what that could do if we really wanted.
